Jon joined VPS Group as Corporate Development Director in 2023, following his role as a consultant for the company starting in March 2021. In 2024 Jon was promoted to Group Corporate Development Director, where he now oversees the corporate development strategy, building on the successful acquisitions of Nexus in 2022 and Durus in 2023.
Prior to his time at VPS, Jon was an investor and founding member of the UK private equity firm Caird Capital. He then went onto provide advisory services to management teams in small and mid-market M&A. With 18 years of experience in private equity and M&A, Jon began his career at Deloitte and later worked at BOSIF, the capital investment arm of the Bank of Scotland.
Jon holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.
